Pod Warranty Overview

Every Pod includes a standard 2-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects under normal in-home, non-commercial use. If a defect appears within the warranty period, Eight Sleep repairs or replaces the Pod at no cost, subject to the terms below.

For longer coverage, customers can extend to a 5-year limited warranty by purchasing a qualifying membership plan, Autopilot Enhanced or Autopilot Elite, at checkout.

Limited Warranty for the Pod

Eight Sleep warrants to the original purchaser that the Pod technology layer and Hub are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for two (2) years from the date of delivery for Pod Pro, Pod 3, Pod 4, Pod 5, the Pod 5 Blanket and the Pod 5 Base.

This warranty

• Applies only to Pods purchased directly from eightsleep.com. Unauthorized resellers, marketplaces and secondhand units are not covered.
• Requires an active Eight Sleep membership during the coverage period, for both the standard and the extended warranty.
• Is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser from the date of delivery.
• Requires proof of purchase (including date), this warranty document and the Product law tag to file a claim.

Warranty duration and coverage

• Standard warranty: 2 years from the date of delivery.
• Extended warranty: 5 years from the date of delivery, only with an active Autopilot Enhanced or Elite membership.
• Coverage starts the day the original Pod is delivered, not when it is first installed.
• A replacement unit is covered for the remainder of the original period or 90 days, whichever is longer.

Replacements and upgrades

A warranty replacement does not restart the warranty period. Upgrading to a newer Pod (for example Pod 3 to Pod 5) starts a new warranty at delivery of the new unit; the old Pod's warranty ends. A fee may apply to replacements outside the warranty period.

Remedies

If a defect arises and a return authorization is requested within the warranty period, Eight Sleep will, at its option, repair the product at no charge using new or refurbished parts, or replace it with a new or refurbished product. Shipping and handling charges may apply where the law allows.

How to obtain service

Request a return authorization from customer service at support@eightsleep.com and include the authorization number with the returned product, packed in its original packaging or equivalent protection.

Exclusions and limitations

The warranty does not cover software or related services, non-Eight products, consumables, cosmetic damage, or damage from accidents, misuse, external causes, normal wear, or use outside the instructions. Products serviced or modified by anyone not authorized by Eight Sleep are excluded. Implied warranties are limited to the duration of this warranty, and Eight Sleep is not liable for incidental or consequential damages, except where the law says otherwise. Disputes are settled by binding arbitration in New York under AAA rules, and the warranty is governed by New York law.

Eight Sleep Foam Mattress Warranty

The foam portion of the Eight Sleep mattress is covered by a 10-year limited warranty against defects such as visible indentation greater than one inch not caused by an unsupportive foundation, and flaws in the cover craftsmanship. It does not cover normal softening, comfort preference, physical abuse, stains, or damage from an improper frame. The technology layer is covered separately by the Pod warranty above.

Pod 4 Base Warranty

The Pod 4 Base is warranted free from defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from delivery under normal in-home, non-commercial use, for the original purchaser only, with the same remedies, service process and exclusions as the Pod warranty.
